Job Description

We are looking for a hardworking and knowledgeable individual to join our client, a leading civil engineering company, as a Payroll Administrator. Working under the direction of their Finance Director across three companies, so a pro-active work ethic anda great attitude are essential!So, if you enjoy delivering only the best in customer service, where no two days are the same and you want to join a growing company that not only values you and your ability - but also strives to develop your potential and further your career progression,then apply now!Responsibilities:

  • Collating data from various sources from our wide network of remote sites into one format
  • Approving agency and subcontractor timesheets
  • Processing all PAYE staff payroll through CIS and Opera
  • Sending all pension data through to the relevant provider
  • Adding new starters
  • Processing leavers
  • All other adhoc payroll tasks
GDPR Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring that the company is compliant with all of the rules of restrictions set out by the ICO.
  • All policies are current, up to date and match the practises the company follows.
  • Dealing with any data subject access requests - this includes every item the company has in their possession that pertains to an individuals personal data.
  • Liaising with ICO to ensure compliance.
  • Once data is collected, it then needs to be redacted so that it has no details relating to the companys day to day dealings and that nobody elses details are visible either.
What we expect from you:
  • Previous experience in a construction company
  • Previous experience in a standalone Payroll role
  • Previous experience running end to end payroll
  • Previous experience with Opera & CIS
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Resilient
  • Have a positive, optimistic attitude.
  • High attention to detail, taking pride in your work.
  • Must be a team player.
