Job Description

We are looking for 3 paralegals to join our client NHS England on a temporary basisIf you have a background in law or are a recent law graduate then this may be the role for you!

  • NHS England
  • Location: Wellington Place Leeds
  • Hybrid working 2 days in the office per week
  • Hours: Monday- Friday 37.5 hours a week flexible between 8-6
  • Assignment length: Temporary until March 2024 but will most likely be extended beyond this
  • Salary: £12.86 per hour
The client:NHS England leads the National Health Service (NHS) in EnglandThe role:As a paralegal, the postholder will provide assistance to the Legal Team in the delivery of its functions, including the provision of legal advice, support, reporting and assurance to meet the requirements of NHS England. The post holder will not providelegal advice themselves and will be supervised by qualified lawyers and/or appropriate business support staff in the work they undertake.Duties may include: research, drafting, supporting reporting and assurance processes, record keeping and file management, supporting the systems and processes of the Legal Team, meeting management and note taking.The role is a paralegal role but does include business support activities as wellSkills and experience required:
  • Law/Legal degree (Ba hons and above)
  • Confident with MS packages
  • Strong communication both written/oral
  • Pro-active, willing to take on new responsibilities
  • Risk takers
