Job Description

Operations CoordinatorWe are delighted to be supporting our client an Eco Food Technology company based in Leeds. Their innovative approach using Hydroponics to harvest rainwater from their 25-million-gallon lake to grow the finest seasonal produce with no soil erosion, alongwith their dedication to their team and British Farming have resulted in numerous industry awards.Following the continuing success of the business, they have an opportunity for an Operations Coordinator to join their team. As Operations Coordinator you will have a strong work ethic, be prepared at times to go above and beyond, and have a passion forthe product and the business. You will be joining a wider team where everyone is a person not a number, and where you will be further supported with continued training and development.As Operations Coordinator you will have:

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks and duties that ensure the smooth running a daily basis.This will include but not be limited to:
  • Support and cover warehouse and facilitys during holidays and absences
  • Performing administrative duties including supplier and client invoices and orders
  • Assisting with project management and organizing events
  • Management of all maintenance and coordination of a company food safety program to maintain statutory compliance to the prescribed legal requirements in the Food Industry
  • Management of transport for all incoming and outgoing products
  • Assist operations Manager in day-to-day coordination and management of business operational activities
  • Plan, co-ordinate and implement the movement and transfer of stock between each base as and when required in the most efficient or cost-effective way
  • Identify problems in operations process and resolve them in quickly and timely manner
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationship through regular meetings and communications
  • Follow standard operating procedures for efficient business operations
