Due to continued growth, we are lookingfor a Nightshift Assistant Supervisor to join and strengthen our team.This is a fantastic opportunity for you to support and assist the Nightshift Supervisor and monitor all assembly operations and delivery of projects on time.If you are self-motivated, organised, and are an apprentice trained Mechanical Engineer looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you!   • Deputising for Supervisor where appropriate
  • Monitoring existing workload and ensure that resource levels are appropriate for delivery
  • Support on time delivery of projects
  • Oversee the completion of NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)
  • Maintain policies and standard operating procedures in accordance with assembly requirements, have a high regard to the health and safety aspects of the work
  • Provides support and assistance for assembly/test related problems and issues as required
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Apprenticeship served in Mechanical Engineering
  • Relevant experience within related industry including knowledge of industry practices & standards, pump/rotating equipment experience being desirable.
  • Knowledge of assembly processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements including completion of risk assessments
  • Excellent Computer skills
  • A good communicator
  • Flexible and adapt to change
  • A methodical approach to work to deadlines whilst maintain attention to detail and ability to adapt to change when required.
  • Capacity to work autonomously
