My client is a leading manufacturing business, who are well established within their industry. With offices within the West Leeds area, this business has experienced a strong period of growth and as a result are looking to grow by adding a Newly QualifiedFinance Manager to their long standing, existing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is ideally newly qualified or is a finalist and has strong experience within both management and financial accounts. It is an exciting time to join the business as they are currently setting and establishingthe foundations for business growth and company reinvestment.This is an excellent opportunity to secure a number two position in finance and to support an extremely experienced Financial Director in managing the finance team. You will be given autonomy overimplementing change and process efficiencies and various upcoming projects and will also support a longstanding, existing small transactional team. You will join a business where you will be challenged and will be able to get involved in all areas of finance. There will be an element of business partnering involved along with some analysis work. The main focus of the role will be to ensure the managementaccounts are produced to a high standard within the timescales given and to ensure that all financial controls are adhered to. There will also be an element of supporting the transactional side and getting hands on and involved with that side of the businesswhen required. As the Finance Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Finance Director and your main duties will initially include but are not limited to the following :- Key responsibilities of the role are - -Preparation and support in the production and presentation of monthly management accounts including journals, reconciliations, variance analysis and monthly balance sheet reconciliations -Assisting in the production and delivery of the monthly management information pack -Preparing and delivering accurate profit and loss accounts with analysis and commentaries -Business partnering with the wider business and providing reports and analysis for them -Producing KPIs -Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting processes - Statutory accounting and financial reporting for the group of businesses- Adding value through variance and yield analysis - Key point of contact for annual audit process- Maintaining the fixed asset register and depreciation process- Cash flow forecasting and planning -Ad-hoc project work and financial analysis as required-Supporting the Financial Accountant and the transactional accounts team and ensuring that their work is of a certain quality and that targets and deadlines are maintained The ideal candidate will - -Newly Qualified or will be a finalist and will have previous experience of a similar accounts based role covering both management and financial accounts -Be looking to join a growing business where you can take ownership for the finance process- Ideally have worked within a manufacturing or similar environment-Have excellent IT skills, with strong Excel skills -Have excellent communication skills and will be able to deal with stakeholders at all levels For more information please contact Gemma WatmoughTo apply please send your CV, quoting our reference and specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
