Job Description

We have a great opportunity for a National Charities Co-ordinator to join the team. As the National Charities Coordinator, you will be responsible for administering the day to day processing of Asda Fundraising initiatives, building relationships with Asda Commercial colleagues and with our national charity partners.What youll be responsible for:

  • You will be responsible for the cause related product process end to end. Ensuring all of the production nominations meet criteria, are approved by charity partners and are administered and processed correctly, following legal and compliance requirements. You will manage the product tracker, keeping accurate records and folders of all of the product nominations. You will develop relationships with Asda commercial colleagues and suppliers to support all nominations, disseminate the guidelines, seek approvals from charity partners. You will work with Asda supplier engagement team to identify ways to promote product and other core partnership engagement activities in a compliant and ethical way.
  • You will co-ordinate the fundraising trackers across the national charity partnerships, updating all product and event income updates. Ensure information is always current for effective and expedient reporting purposes. You will be responsible for providing regular reports to the team and charity partners of fundraising income position.
  • You will be responsible for raising invoices for product income and organising payments to the charity partners. In addition, you will co-ordinate the reconciliation with the Central financial control team on a regular basis of all fundraising income.
  • You will support the design and delivery of fundraising events, such as the annual Tickled Pink gala ball. You will contribute ideas, keep accurate minutes of meetings, actions and update the event management tools, including critical paths.
  • You will support in the home office volunteering programme, organising and processing colleague volunteering requests; completing required information and compliance controls for all volunteer opportunities.
  • The National Charity fundraising partnerships and Better Communities team are constantly evolving. You will have the opportunity to be involved with supporting new projects. Which would include but not be restricted to managing the coordination of the project meetings, progress trackers and information decks.
  • You will own the National charity image library. You will liaise with the charity partners to update and approve all charity images in the library for our use on internal and external communications. You will lead on all Tickled Pink and BBC Children in Need filming and photography requirements. Liaising with the team and charity partners on requirements and approval processes. Brief relevant agencies, manage the process and critical paths. You will be responsible for updating the library of all organic store fundraising images.
