We have a great opportunity available for a leading Yorkshire based manufacturer. Here at Futures, we are looking for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the existing team due to recent investment on site.***4 ON 4 OFF DAYS/NIGHT SHIFT***Reporting into the Engineering Manager you will take responsibility for both proactive and reactive maintenance duties within this fast paced production environment. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will share responsibility for achieving budgeted machine performance targets and ensuring the machines are kept running to peak performance within the manufacturing unit.Key responsibilities;Daily plant inspections, monitoring plant performanceYou will need to facilitate a speedy response to all plant stoppages and plan/implement modifications to new and existing equipmentCarrying out fault finding diagnosis/repairs on equipment and plantYou will have to ensure the PPM schedules are maintained in accordance with the current requirementsContinuous Improvement - identify new methods and proceduresEnsure accurate & timely records are entered / recorded of all work carried out, root causes of failures and of spares / consumables usedSuccessful Multi Skilled Engineers will be;Previous experience of working within a FMCG or heavy industrial manufacturing environmentTime served apprenticeship in an electrical engineering disciplineDegree / HND or equivalent in electrical17th Edition City & Guilds (Desirable)Why work hereThe respected business value their people and want to provide a platform to be creative and grow to their full potential.
