Job Description

Days Multi-Skilled Maintenance EngineerLooking for a new challenge as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Join our client, a leading FMCG manufacturing company in Leeds! We are seeking a skilled professional with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering. This is a DAYS based shift 6-2 2-10 weekly rotating role within a dynamic FMCG manufacturing setting.With a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, this position offers excellent compensation and room for professional growth. If you have the required qualifications and experience, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repair tasks on machinery and equipment in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnose faults accurately, and efficiently carry out necessary repairs.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Apprentice trained in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 qualification.
  • Proven experience in maintenance and fault-finding within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, including motors, controls, and PLCs.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and the ability to work in compliance with them.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team.
