Job Description

Ready to find the right role for youLocation - Leeds, LS9 0RJSalary -Starting at £24,147.11 rising to £26,393.34 once qualified to drive mobile plantup to 8% annual bonusHours - 40 hours per weekRolling shift 2 week patternWeek 1 - 0600 - 1430Week 2 1400 - 2230With this role you will have the opportunity to progress to a Mobile Plant Driver.We are looking for a Plant Operative to assist with the safe and efficient operation of a modern Recycling and Energy Recovery Facility, maximising performance whilst maintaining all environmental and cleanliness standards.This position is excellent for an individual looking to enter the waste and recycling world. If you are a team player who is looking to kick-start your career, we want to hear from you!What will you be doing

  • Operate Mobile plant to ensure efficient plant operation and recyclate collection
  • Operate the baler
  • Operate the SCADA system
  • General cleaning of equipment, structure and floor within the Mechanical Pre Treatment (MPT) including baling hall and yard, shredders, trommels, ballistic separators and all mobile plant to name but a few
  • Assisting with the supervision of contractors and visitors to the site
  • Carry out sampling on site
What are we looking for
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Understanding of Health and safety policies and procedures
  • Operation of a SCADA system (Desirable)
