Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Mobile Commercial Gas / Mechanical Engineer to join our contract supporting Leeds and the Yorkshire regionReporting to the Supervisor, you will deliver all Gas & Mechanical statutory and reactive maintenance required across various contracts, supporting the local engineering teams.You will be required to provide an exceptional high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) with the utmost regard for customer service, ensuring services are maintained at all times, having the experience / expertise to diagnose faultsand rectify them.The successful candidate will have a background in Commercial Gas maintenance with relevant and current qualifications.This is a Mobile role, therefore a UK Driving License is required as a company van will be provided.The position is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with Overtime available.ResponsibilitiesYou will:

  • Deliver a customer focused planned, preventative and reactive maintenance service relating primarily to Gas related equipment and plant, as required by NG Bailey Facilities Services, in order to meet our client and statutory obligations.
  • Delivery of mechanical service capability to related components, e.g. gas booster sets, pressurisation units, pressure vessels, water heaters (vented/unvented) etc.
  • Provide Service Support as part of a team providing quality service delivery 24/7, with a future requirement to be part of the out of hours emergency rota team
  • Demonstrate appropriate Health and Safety knowledge to ensure that the safety first and foremost message is adhered to at all times throughout all activities carried out.
  • Working efficiently and updating the status of your work in real time. Regularly reviewing requirements and making appropriate recommendations to amend the programme which maximises productivity whilst minimising costs
  • Ensuring that positive relationships are maintained throughout the life of the contract. Portraying a professional image at all times.
  • To identify opportunities to provide additional works and to produce Estimates for the work to support Business Development and maximisation of opportunities
  • Ensure that work is completed to the highest level of quality in all circumstances
  • Ensure timely completion of all required documentation, i.e. time sheets, job sheets and certificates. Ensure that all work is updated in real time.
RequirementsYou will have:
  • ACS Modules CIGA1, CODNCO1, CORT1, ICAE1, ICPN1, TPCP1 & TPCP1A
  • OFTEC Qualified
  • Gas Safe Qualified
  • Experience in Statutory Certification Requirements including any deviations
  • Experience of various manufacturers systems
  • Fault Finding diagnostic experience
  • Capable of working independently
  • Experience of working as a Heating Technician/Engineer
  • Experience of working with Commercial Gas equipment and systems
  • Experience of working with mechanical equipment and system
