We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with pupils at a SEND School in Leeds.***Support the whole child and teach more than just the national curriculum***Work in state of the art facilities***Join a team with excellent leadership and fantastic teamworkThe Purpose Of The RoleTo work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in the classroom with the teacher. To support access learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.Provide general support to staff and pupils, including preparation and routine maintenance of resources/equipment.To develop knowledge, skills and understanding of requirements for effective support in a SEN, SEMH setting.Duties include:Attending to the pupils personal needs and implement related personal programmes, including social, health, physical, hygiene, first aid and welfare matters.To supervise and support pupils ensuring their safety and access to learning.Establish good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs.Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.About The SchoolThis is a thriving community of SEND schools in Leeds.Staff work together to make a difference for young people in their care.These are incredibly exciting times to join an excellent School.The school is rapidly growing and has state of the art facilities.The successful applicant will make a real difference to some of the most vulnerable students in the city.How To ApplyTo apply for this role please dont hesitate to send your cv to
