Microsoft Power Platform Manager

Job Description

A Microsoft Power Platform Manager required on behalf of a client in the public sector.This is a fixed term contract for 18 months, with a hybrid working model with occasional travel to Leeds.The M365 Platform Manager is the subject matter expert for Office 365, being responsible for driving user adoption to maximise the value of investment. The Platform Manager will oversee the deployment and adoption of Power Platform capabilities includingOffice 365 in our complex environment. This role combines technical and business skills with leadership talent to deliver collaboration, communication and process improvements for our employees, customers and partners. An ability to prioritise outcomes andbuild consensus is essential to properly serve our 20k+ employees across the city region.Experience required:

• Substantial Office 365 management experience including some combination of service management of SharePoint, Exchange, Skype for Business/Microsoft Teams and/or other collaboration solution delivery management including workflow tools such as MicrosoftPower Automate & Power Platform tools and their predecessors.
• Extensive Agile service management experience in running feature teams with Kanban, SCRUM or other Agile methodology. Experience in best practices for iterative service release and communications.
• Technical proficiency in service solution design including custom solutions in Office 365 utilizing Azure services as needed.
• Extensive experience in developing requirements and performing system analysis.
• Extensive experience of major systems implementation
• Extensive experience of building, managing and supporting IT applications in a mid to large size business environment
• Extensive experience managing a cross-functional team in a highly complex environment
• Experience with vendor, change and release management best practices.
• Ability to transform complex technical topics into understandable concepts for business users and ability to communicate business requirements to a technical audience.
• Experience performing application delivery leveraging Microsoft Azure.
• Bachelors degree Computer Science or related field required (8+ additional years of experience beyond the required years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelors degree) - Desirable
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively prioritize & multi-task in high volume workload situations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of staff, including internal/external customers and senior management teams
• Prosci and/or other organisational change management certification (Desirable)
• Ability to prioritise incidents, escalate to service owners or third-party providers, manage stakeholders, and minimise disruption on business or IT operations in a short time frame and a good understanding of incident management tools.
