Job Description

We recruit for Colleges and Training Providers across the UK.Introduction:We are proud to be recruiting for a MI Manager on a full time, permanent position, based in Leeds. Our client have been established for over 10 years delivering a range of adult education programmes such as Apprenticeships, AEB and other corporate trainingopportunities with an Ofsted grade 2 report. The are looking for an experienced individual to join their team and provide a full administrative service supporting members of the organisation at all levels to delivery the variety of qualifications offered.Roles and Responsibilities:The MI Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Reporting regularly to the management team on any issues or concerns that could affect the quality of outcomes for learners, suggesting improvements and prioritizing tasks.
  • Gathering feedback from learners about their learning experience and providing this feedback to the management team through regular meetings.
  • Maintaining accurate staff training records to assist in the efficient operation of the department, including both paper and IT systems, which need to be updated frequently.
  • Ensuring that learner registration is completed in a timely manner and completing all claims processes for all FE qualifications.
  • Undertaking invigilation duties as required and assisting in the administration of examinations.
  • Ensuring that learner portfolios are collected and available for external verification as needed.
  • Using software packages to prepare reports, communications, and documents as needed.
Experience and Skills:The MI Manager will require the following
  • At least 2 years experience working in the adult education sector as an administrator
  • Strong and comprehensive IT skills and use of PICS, Microsoft packages and other CRM systems
  • The ability to be flexible and effectively respond to the demands of external stakeholders, such as Ofsted, subcontracting colleges, external verifiers, and other organisations.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills with staff members at all levels in the business
  • Working knowledge of the requirements for registration, certification, and external verification of learners set by Awarding Bodies.
  • Knowledge of record keeping for training, CPD, DBS records of staff, etc.
