Job Description

You will report into the Director of Sales & Operations and Work alongside the design and sales team to ensure the critical path is followed and purchase orders are delivered to schedule.Client DetailsJoin a leading British Brand who designs and sells apparel & accessories in the Yeadon area, who are known for quality productsDescription

  • Build strong relationships with our suppliers.
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers on costs.
  • Management of stock levels of swing tickets, yarns, dyes, accessories etc… held by suppliers and the proactive replenishment.
  • Work alongside the design and sales team to ensure the critical path is followed and purchase orders are delivered to schedule.
  • Produce purchase orders - creating, checking, and validating purchase orders for cost prices, delivery dates and quantities.
  • Track the production progress of purchase orders with our suppliers, from receipt of the purchase order to delivery into our warehouse.
  • Manage the delivery schedule - communicate production updates and ex-factory delivery dates to the business.
  • Work with our accounts and warehouse departments to ensure all units ordered are correctly received and invoiced by the supplier correctly.
  • Feedback to suppliers on any quality control and specification issues.
  • Work with senior management to assist with the administration of sales orders, including providing quotes and samples, producing sales orders, customer liaison and dealing with bespoke fulfilment requirements.
  • Dealing with retailer queries in a timely, proactive and efficient manner including delegating within the business to different departments, such as warehouse and.
  • Building strong relationships with the factory and customers.
  • Working with our other departments to ensure production and sales queries are dealt with professionally, accurately and swiftly.
  • Reporting production schedule and any issues to key business stakeholders.

  • Proven previous experience working within a supply chain with multiple suppliers .
  • A problem solver with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • A dynamic self-starter with a positive, enthusiastic can-do attitude.
  • Keen progesser and willing to learn and adapt to a growing business.
  • Excellent analytic skills and ability to investigate anomalies.
  • Customer focused with excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to multitask.
  • Previous experience of managing tasks, including follow up, reporting, working with other departments and delegating.
  • Computer literate including advanced skills on excel, PowerPoint, and ability to learn bespoke systems quickly.
  • Brilliant team play who can demonstrate working well under pressure and tight deadlines.
