Job Description

OverviewSupporting Executives in providing day-to-day expert advice to clients and/or corporate advisers/lawyers in connection with a wide portfolio of corporate action events. Help developing and maintaining relationship with clients and their advisers, assisting in communicating desires of clients to operational teams and to ensure understanding of the clients’ challenges and goals. Supporting the expansion and implementation of new initiatives and services to meet future needs of clients.Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities

  • Helping to develop and maintain strategic relationships
  • Supporting Executives in day-to-day duties
  • Handling enquiries from clients, advisers and other business contacts
  • Drafting corporate action agreements
  • Initiating the proofing and printing of corporate action documents
  • Identifying bank accounts to be opened
  • Implementing new initiatives  Understanding and adopting Links “Treat Customers Fairly” policy
  • Supporting Executives in attending client/advisor project meetings
  • Participating in project conference calls
  • Reviewing a variety of corporate action documents
  • Drafting and overseeing preparation and mailing of shareholder invitation or result documents
  • Communicating event parameters to key business areas
  • Overseeing the issue of client invoices  Updating Euroclear UK & Ireland (operator of CREST) in a timely manner on corporate actions
  • Suggesting possible improvements to services provided
  • Ensuring management information records are maintained
  • Supporting client feedback surveys
  • Supporting the corporate actions risk review process

  • Customer service background and client service focus
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and work collectively
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills
  • Enthusiasm to learn with outgoing personality
  • Interest in studying CISI or other financial services qualification
  • Flexible and willingness to travel to shareholder meetings (primarily in London however occasional travel in UK required)
