Job Description

Media Relations- Press Officer - Manager/ Interim Media Relations ConsultantPublic Sector - NHSYorkshire - Remote WorkingClient DetailsA large public sector organisationDescriptionAs an Interim PR, Media Relations and Press Officer you will lead on all communications, campaign and some social media

  • Responsible for leading the organisations PR communications activities (internal & external)
  • Leading on the development and a range of communication channels to most effectively deliver messages to different audiences
  • Work closely with various stakeholders on campaigns which encourage and support employee involvement and engagement. You will confidently and proactively engage with departments and working groups across the organisation, providing advice on internal communications as well as communicating externally.
  • You will be responsible for writing, designing and coordinating content across a range of communication channels PR, Press but you will also be involved in reputation management, crisis management and all media relations
  • You will also be involved in campaigns and some social media postings
    • ProfileYou will have a background in media relations, PR and press.
  • 5+ years experience in PR, Media Relations and Press ideally within the NHS, Public Sector or NFP
  • Have experience working in a busy and challenging press office
  • Proactive and reactive media experience
  • National media experience
  • Worked on campaigns and helped support social media postings
  • Have created engaging content for press releases
  • Stakeholder engagement experience
