Energy-E262Mechanical Maintenance Engineer-Full Time-Leeds,United KingdomSulzer Pump UK in Leeds is a Top Employer and have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join and strength our team.As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure the maintenance of the Leeds site meets statutory compliance and to act as a point of contact for site maintenance and development. Maintaining and repairing breakdowns on our CNC machines. Are you ahighly motivated and driven CNC Maintenance Engineer with either a mechanical or electrical background, if so, would love to hear from you!We are small and supportive team that thrives on working in a fast-moving, hands-on, and dynamic environment within a large organisation.Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Planned and reactive activities on CNC machine tools
  • Electrical fault finding with and without diagrams
  • Custodian of the site wiring diagrams, including the updating of information
  • Ensure maintenance of the Leeds site meets stator compliance and to act as a point of contact for site maintenance and development.
  • Assess sub-contractors and ensure they work in accordance with Sulzer HS&E
  • Carry out reviews and inspections
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • HNC/HND qualified in electrical engineering/ equivalent time served within the industry
  • Knowledge and experience with BS7671 18th edition
  • 2391 Inspection and testing is desirable
  • Understanding of LEAN manufacturing
  • Project management skills
  • CAD and general computer literacy is required
  • Excellent communication skills, including influencing, persuasion, negotiation, customer focus and relationship management.
  • Methodical with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
