Job Description

Are you looking for a role in a Maths/English department as a specialist tutorDo you have strong subject knowledge of key stage 1 and 2 Maths or EnglishCan you support students aged 3 to 11 with their studies at Primary levelIf so, read on!Bay Recruitment Group are working with a Primary school based in Leeds are currently looking for maths intervention tutor to support their key stage 1 and 2 students for a 12 week contract. The successful maths tutor will support students inside and out of the classroom, ensuring that they are continuously making progression in their studies. I am working closely with the school to find a graduate or experienced tutor who is keen to develop their skills in a mainstream setting and progress within a career in education.An Ideal Candidate

  • Graduate Degree Beneficial
  • Competent in KS2 Maths and English
  • Minimum of B is GCSE Maths and English
  • Experience working in a classroom environment essential
  • Previous experience tutoring on a one to one or group basis
  • Confident delivering lessons with strong behaviour management skills
    • Requirements
  • Degree educated with a good classification or previous experience working in a similar role. (preferred)
  • Previous experience with young people (which we can reference)
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
  • Willingness to undergo DBS referencing check & a thorough interview process with one of our consultants.
