Job Description

We are proud to represent Pelsis Pest Control group, seeking a Marketing Executive / Brand Channel Manager for its Retail brands.The company HQ is in Knaresborough, but this role could be based from home (with regular office visits).The company is on a journey to become Europes leading pest control product supplier.With operations in the UK and across Europe, Pelsis Group is looking for an experienced brand and marketing executive to take a leading role in the Pest Stop and Green Protect brands.This broad and varied marketing role will see you working with teams across product development, product management, brand, marketing, communications, events, training and sales, encompassing a wide variety of marketing and channel management activitiesfor the UK & Europe.The Marketing Executive / Channel Manager will provide support to the regional General Managers and sales teams to grow profitable market share across the UK and Europe, liaising with regional teams to expand the brands geographical presence in key territories.The Marketing Executive Role:Responsible for developing and implementing the marketing plan for Pest Stop and Green Protect.

  • Grow the brand in core territories of the UK & Europe
  • Plan and execute new product launches and evaluate these
  • Plan and execute a communications plans, regular promotions, offers and mailers with sales teams
  • Produce marketing and sales data reports
  • Provide marketing support liaising with the training team
  • Conduct market research
  • Brand analysis and reporting
  • Plan, co-ordinate, implement and evaluate promotional activity
  • Competitor & market analysis
  • Website management (Ecommerce)
  • Maintenance and development of other brands websites
  • Manage and develop promotional materials, including catalogues
  • Copywriting of PR, web and literature
  • Liaise with the product managers to support product portfolio
  • Lead Edialux Professional tradeshow planning and execution
  • Line manage Marketing Executive
The Candidate:A motivated individual, qualified to degree standard, with demonstrable practical experience of broad marketing project management, working within a team.Confident understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential. Experience with SAP and Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be advantageous.The candidate should be confident in dealing with internal colleagues of varying seniority and external partners including customers, suppliers etc. Must be willing to take a leading role in various projects.Key requirements for Marketing Executive:
  • Degree level qualification in appropriate subject
  • Substantial experience of managing brands / products across multiple territories
  • Experience of the full marketing mix
  • Experience of market research and analysis
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines, delivering marketing plans and executing these
  • Ability to work closely with colleagues from across the business to ensure that goals and objectives are met
  • Willing to travel in the UK and Europe
