Job Description

Marketing Coordinator LeedsSalary £25k to £28k pa Invigorate Recruitment is looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Coordinator we are looking for someone with a creative flair who is wanting to make a mark in a business.Marketing Coordinator Job Purpose:To interpret campaigns and create inspiring, intriguing and interesting communications that resonate across the businesses retail and direct channels.Responsibilities of the Marketing Coordinator

  • Brand understanding
  • o Being fully conversant with the brand - what it stands for, key messaging and campaigns, and their creative interpretation across all mediums.o Ensure all marketing communications are in keeping with the brando Developing new on-brand creative ideas to drive brand awareness and sales for the retail, direct and wholesale channels.
  • Retail marketing assets
  • o Developing and managing all marketing communications related to the store, including windows, POS, general visual merchandising and event collateral.o Taking campaign themes and making them work for the store environment.o Ensuring these materials are always intriguing, inspiring and interesting.o Working closely with the merchandising team to understand product strategyo Making sure the store staff are always up to speed with new campaigns and the store always looks visually impactful.o Making sure retail is promoted effectively on email, web and social.o Working with the PR Manager on store events, producing relevant collateral and generating awareness.o Developing new ideas to increase customer loyalty and drive saleso Being aware of competitor activity
  • Paper brand marketing assets
  • o Manage the development of marketing comms for the direct business, including but not exclusively parcel flyers, birthday mailings, cat requests and welcome pieces.o Catalogue- Managing the catalogue covers, writing briefs and controlling versions including reactivation, recruitment and international segments; Helping sense check the inners, adding value from a campaign perspective.o Inserts - Briefing studio on creative; Writing required copy elements; Checking through to print stage
  • Digital advertising
  • o Working with the Head of Ecommerce to develop seasonal adverts for Facebook, Conversant, Awin and Criteo.o Using best seller info and results to further inform the process.o Also assisting the digital team with the creation of other marketing assets as and when required.
  • Lifestyle photoshoots and videos
  • o Supporting the Head of Creative in organising two main external photoshoots per season (one abroad in SS season).o Taking ownership of prop sourcing, model management, location sourcing, scheduling and budgets.o Producing four main seasonal videos per annum plus cut-down version for social.
  • Wholesale marketing assets
  • o Utilise our brand assets to create strong marketing strategies for wholesale and channel partners, to promote the brando Create new assets as and when requiredo Come up with creative ideas to help generate additional sales
  • Print management
  • o Managing all print, except for the main catalogue and inserts.o Manage printer relationships to maintain a high level of cost-effectiveness, service & quality, continuously introducing new suppliers who can add value to our activityo Working with the warehouse to brief and manage print volumes for customer journey and other materialso Adhering to the internal cost control system (3 prices per project).
  • Competitor tracking and analysis
  • o Keeping abreast of retail and direct channel competitor marketing, creating monthly summaries to share with all teams.
  • Partnership programmes
  • o Build relationships with third party brands that can drive mutual sales, using our database and comms channels as a driver.
  • Research programmes
  • o Work with the marketing director to generate research programmes to drive customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • People management
  • o Managing the Marketing Executive, paying attention to their development needs, motivation and workload balance.Technical knowledge required.
