Job Description

Salary: £50,000 baseReporting to: VP of MarketingLocation: ( Hybrid) Leeds HQ, onsite for 1 month to learn the product & businessMy client is a leading software company in Leeds, who are seeking an experienced and passionate Business Development Manager to join the team and drive sales.This isnt your typical BDM role, they are looking for someone who is creative and can drive sales through digital campaigns. You will collaborate with sales and client partnerships to ensure strategy is aligned to build revenue pipelines with business objectives.This is all about building relationships, attracting potential clients and offering a consultative approach rather than being your sales man BDM.Responsibilities:

  • Business Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong business relationships to drive growth and expansion.
  • Strategic Insights: Provide valuable insights into industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor landscapes.
  • CRM Data Management: Efficiently manage and download relevant data from the CRM system for the Marketing and Operations Director.
  • Market Analysis: Keep on track with industry developments, identifying potential clients, and assessing interest in innovative products.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in Business Development, with a focus on building and maintaining successful business relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to extract and interpret data from CRM systems.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and a keen interest in ground breaking technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Not a sales or target-oriented position - exclusively focused on business development and relationship building
  • You MUST have a background in technology/software as the product you will be selling is very technical and you will need to have a deep understanding of it.
