Job Description

Marketing AssistantThis is an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join and established recruitment firm. The business is a small, but growing and ambitious recruitment business located in Kirkstall, Leeds. They are at a stage where recruiting significant marketingresource is critical in order to continue their growth.Why this opportunity is so exciting - You will be involved in every aspect of marketing as the business continues to grow. You will be working alongside the Marketing Manager and MD in creating an entrepreneurial environment.As Marketing Assistant you will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist the marketing Manager with marketing campaigns
  • Assist with the production of marketing materials and literature including web content, brochures and press releases
  • Assist with the collation of information for promotional literature
  • Help organise events, exhibitions and seminars. Make bookings and oversee the guest list
  • Write and proofread copy
  • Upload material to the website, social media pages, online libraries and department database
  • Design and place advertisements
  • Evaluate marketing campaigns using tracking and analytical software
  • Liaise with graphic and website designers
  • Assist with presentations by assembling videos, slideshows and analyses of competitors
  • Visit clients and attend trade shows
Requirements
  • Some marketing experience or a relevant marketing qualification
  • Content creation skills desirable
  • Copy writing skills
