As a Management AccountantTeam Leader, you will have a varied role across the month but withaparticular focus on the delivery of a high-quality month-end close. This includes assisting in the preparation of ASDAs monthly financial statementsin accordance with accounting standards, group accounting policies and procedures.Your RoleYou willlead and develop your team of up to 4 Qual & Part Quals through a variety of responsibilities throughout the month, (No one day is the same) supporting key business activities (balance sheet reconciliations, journal postings and validating supplierincome)You will drive continuous improvement throughout your area and the wider business; you will review and, where necessary, re-engineer processes to ensure compliance with accounting policies and to meet the needs of your customers.Also, identify and lead on opportunities where technology can deliver process efficiency and improve the quality of the service that your team provides.About You
