Elevation Accountancy and Finance are pleased to be partnering with a long standing PLC client to recruit an interim Management Accountant to support one of their international subsidiaries. This interim role is an urgent requirement, based at the Leeds head office and is offered on a long-term contract basis to provide vital support to the German subsidiary throughout a period of permanent recruitment. Key responsibilities will include:-Maintaining the general ledger of the German company-Posting business transactions, reconciling accounts and maintaining the fixed asset register-Month end accounts production-Reconciliation of intercompany accounts-Preparation of monthly/quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS-Monitoring of cash flow-Variance analysisThe successful candidate will be an experienced management accountant, ideally with a background of working in a multisite international environment. You will regularly be communicating with key operations stakeholders at the Germany and UK sites and so strongwritten and verbal German and English language skills are essential. This is initially an interim position offered up to a period of 12 months but for a willing candidate could become a permanent role. The company are currently working on a hybrid basis and interested candidates must be within a commutable distance of the Leedsoffice.
