Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Management Accountant for a permanent role in the professional services sector. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. This is a varied role, involved in in management accounts,financial reporting, ad hoc financial analysis and project work, and would suit a newly qualified accountant.Client DetailsThis employer is a respected large-scale organisation within the professional services industry.   • Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
  • Consolidate divisional management information and provide consolidated analysis
  • Develop and analyse reporting for business operations and budgets
  • Perform and coordinate external audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
  • Conduct balance sheet reviews to ensure balances are understood
  • Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
  • Report analysis and findings to management team
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding finances, tax filings, and reporting
  • Assist in the development of the annual budget
  • Monitor the completion of compliance matters, including PAYE and corporation tax submissions
  • Support with ad hoc projects and initiatives
  • Provide support to junior members of the team
ProfileA successful Management Accountant should have:
  • Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
