Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working with a growing company based in North Leeds who have a rare opportunity for a driven Management Accountant to join their busy finance team. The successful candidate will get hands on exposure working in a busy finance function & would be ideal for someone who has recently qualified or has a year or twos experience post-qual. In addition to a competitive salary, my client is also offering the following employee benefits:* 33 days holiday, including bank holidays* Employer-paid HealthCare Plan* Private Medical Insurance Scheme* Company Bonus Scheme* Company Sick Pay Scheme* Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Pay* Hybrid working (2 days a week in the office)* Generous bonus schemeDuties & Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include:* Production of accurate, timely and consistent monthly management accounts, including posting of month end journals and the production of Group format reconciliations* Provision of support to the UK Commercial Team and provision of monthly and ad-hoc financial information to them and the wider business* Responsibility for maintaining and supporting internal Finance systems and processes* Involvement in the preparation of year end files for auditors and the annual audit process* Management of a direct report* Adherence to and improvement of financial operational controls* Involvement in business projects as appropriate to the role * Support the preparation of the annual budget and reforecasts by maintaining accurate revenue information* Revenue recognition To be successful for this role you MUST have the following attributes:* ACCA / CIMA Part Qualified / Qualified* Highly organised with a methodical approach and with the ability to manage own workload * Able to deal with confidential financial and personal information in a discrete manner* Previous experience of of revenue accounting including subscription accounting and deferred revenue* Strong Microsoft Excel skillsIf you meet the criteria for this role and are interested in applying - please do not hesitate to contact Michael McVeigh to discuss.
