Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working with a reputable company based in Leeds as they look to recruit an ambitious Management Accountant. While this position is initially on a 12 month fixed term contract, there is definitely potentialfor permanency! The role will mainly be focused on providing support to the finance director in preparing monthly management accounts and other financial reports while also providing support on looking after the journals and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will thrivein a fast paced, supportive organization and enjoy seeing how their role contributes to the provision of supported housing.Duties & Responsibilities: - Support trade customer queries- Undertake reconciliations and upkeep of the financial records to support the integrity ofthe balance sheets- Provide business partnering service to Business Director through monthly budgetmonitoring meetings- Provide business partnering services to the wider business admin team- Working collaboratively with the wider finance team in the publication of the managementaccounts- Assist the Accounts payable team- Assist with annual rent & service charge review- Assist with annual budget associated with Lease rent , Insurance & Professional FeesKey Candidate requirements:- Production of monthly management accounts- Working in a finance department (minimum 2 years experience)- Evidence of training and continuing professional development- Excellent numeracy- Excellent IT skills, particularly in ExcelIf this role appeals and you are available to commence a role ASAP, please apply now or get in touch with Matt Goddard to avoid missing out!
