* Management Accountant role for Northern Ballet* Hybrid role with around 2 days per week to be spent in the office* Full or part time work patterns available with a minimum of 0.8 FTEA unique role as a Management Accountant for Northern Ballet who are the UKs foremost narrative ballet company. We have an absolute commitment to our leading role as an international ambassador for world-class dance, often showcasingour exceptional home-grown artistry on the world-stage.What youll be doing as a Management Accountant...There are not many opportunities in finance to work collaboratively with professional dancers and to contribute to the ongoing success of Northern Ballet by ensuring everyone is on "pointe" with their budgets as well as their dancing.You will be the sort of accountant who would love to work across a diverse range of stakeholders across the performance arts sector and can support the Finance Director, by the production of management accounts, budgets, and forecasts for the Northern Balletgroup of companies.As Management Accountant you will lead on the production of management accounts across the group for review and discussion with the finance director and assist in the production of the Budget and monthly forecasts.Youll provide advice to the business development team and help with the financial elements of funding bids.Youll gain understanding of the operational areas of the group to contribute to inter-departmental working whilst fostering a strong control environment identifying, proposing, and implementing change as necessary.You will maintain records and support the Finance Director in producing annual Theatre Tax relief and Film Tax relief claims.What youll need to offer....Ideally youll be a fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA), but applications from actively studying part qualified and finalists can be considered.Youll have previous experience of producing group management accounts from financial records and will have a great attention to detail and a logical and methodical approach.Experience of charity accounting and of theatre or arts organisations including TTR and FTR claims would be extremely useful, although not essential.What they will offer you...Aside from the non financial benefits of working for the UKs leading narrative ballet company where youll get to see first hand some incredible performances from dancers the other benefits include:* Hybrid working with an anticipation of 2 days per week in the offices in Leeds City Centre* Location on the outskirts of the Centre of Leeds around 10 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes from the bus station and with reasonable pricing public carparks nearby* A salary of c£35,000 - 40.000 depending upon qualification and experience* Pension Scheme with 5.75% employer contribution* 5 weeks holidays per year plus bank holidays* Full or part time work patterns available with a minimum of 0.8 FTE
