Job Description

This is a new and exciting Opportunity for an experienced Logistics Administrator to join an established organisation on a 12 month FTC basis. This role offers free on-site parking, great progression opportunities and many more benefits.Client DetailsMy Client is an award winning Logistics company that operate on an International Level. Due to recent successes, they are looking to hire a determined, innovative and successful Logistics Administrator who are ready to grow with them at their site in Leeds.DescriptionYour daily duties as a Logistics Administrator will include the following:

  • Updating 3rd party logistics spreadsheet of In-bounds (daily)
  • Chasing Customs import forms from Suppliers for all plant locations, logging the information, and ensuring customs gets a copy
  • Chasing suppliers for documentation, prices, and delivery dates
  • Training on Vessel import customs documents
  • Sales order processing
  • Investigating and resolving all invoice queries for credit, processing the credit request form where appropriate
  • Liaison with Production, Hauliers, and Account Managers to ensure delivery commitments are fulfilled
  • Reporting of delayed deliveries, outstanding orders, product shortages, customers service levels and KPIs
  • Purchase Requisitions - convert to purchase orders for our factories, liaising with key personnel to ensure information is accurate
  • ProfileThe successful Logistics Administrator will have the following:
  • Logistics/Customer Service (1 year minimum)
  • Export/Import Knowledge - desirable
  • Good IT skills
  • SAP Experience - desirable
  • Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team
