Job Description

Level 3 Early Years PractitionerLocation: LS13, BramleyJob Type: Full-Time, 40 hours a week.Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications, to be discussed.We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a vibrant and dynamic team at one of our clients nurseries. As an essential member of our early childhood education centre, you will play a crucial role in providing high-qualitycare and education for children aged 0-5 years.You will initially register with Veritas Education and the you will attend an interview/have an observation over at our clients nursery setting with the intention of becoming one of their permanent staffs members.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Child-Centred Care: Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of each child.
  2. Curriculum Planning: Design and implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences that support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  3. Observation and Assessment: Regularly observe and assess childrens progress, maintaining accurate records to share with parents and inform future planning.
  4. Parental Engagement: Build positive relationships with parents, providing regular feedback on their childs development and involving them in the learning process.
  5. Health and Safety: Ensure a safe and secure environment for children, following health and safety guidelines and promoting good hygiene practices.
  6. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive team environment, sharing ideas and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working in an early years setting.
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
