Job Description

Lead Developer – Leeds / Hybrid£50,000 - £60,000 plus excellent benefitsThis well-established, national company are looking to add an experienced Technical Lead / Lead PHP Developer to spearhead their web team. The business is positioned to revamp their digital presence, integrating the latest technologies and features into theirplatform architecture.Package:

  • £50,000 - £60,000 – Dependent on experience
  • 37.5-hour work week with flexible working hours

The Lead Developer role will have a mix of hands-on coding, leading on technical projects, and managing a team of Back End Developers and DevOps Engineers. As Technical Lead, you will drive the ongoing development and implementation of the back-end technicalstrategy, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the company’s back-end web platform and infrastructure.The role will operate a hybrid working model, with a preference for candidates to be able to travel to Leeds 2-3 times per week.Required:
  • Significant experience in a senior or lead developer role.
  • Expertise in PHP and an understanding of frameworks such as Symfony
  • Cloud platforms such as Azure, or equivalent.
  • DevOps principles,
  • Continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • A track record of mentoring, coaching, or leading other developers
