Job Description

You the JuniorMerchandiser (Ecommerce & Wholesale) will report into the Directors and work closely with the Head of Buying to maximise sales and reacting to market & seasonal trends.Client DetailsAn up and coming British Brand is looking to appoint a JuniorMerchandiser (Ecommerce & Wholesale) to join their growing head office team in Leeds. The business is an Online & wholesale brand which is growing at a rapid rate. The brand is stock across the UK, Europe, American and Australia and has a strong Social Media followingDescription

  • Implement merchandising process and systems.
  • Set up and maintain line cards.
  • Assistant with rebuys.
  • Extract sales data from current systems and feedback to buying team on sales/stock cover
  • Sizing ratio and analysis
  • Identifying opportunities for free to sell stock based on sales performance from key accounts
  • Working alongside ecommerce/sales/buying/marketing and finance teams
  • Pricing control - set prices to maximise profits, planning promotions and markdowns as necessary.
  • Sales analysis.
  • Controlling stock levels in season.
  • Forecasting rate of sale and replenishing sold items to satisfy that demand (dependent on point in season/seasonality of the style).
  • Monitoring slow sellers/non movers and taking action (lower prices or fix listing issues)
  • Analysing the previous seasons sales and contributing to future budget discussions.
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding re-ordering stock, agreeing timescales and delivery dates and creating the Purchase Orders for in season orders.
  • Working with the Head of buying to ensure re-orders are in line with forward orders (i.e. no duplication of styles/quantities).
  • Identifying supply difficulties and communicate with buyers/warehouse management team.
  • Dealing with any problems or incorrectly delivered stock.
    • Profile2 years plus Head office merchandising experience at a retailer / supplier.
  • Ecommerce experience.
  • Ideally Fashion experience.
  • Strong Excel Skills.
  • Able to manage own workload.
