Job Description

Calling all Creative Graduates! We are currently recruiting for an exclusive opportunity with our Leeds based client, a successful Creative Agency, for a proactive and innovative Junior Artworker to join their lively team. Based near Leeds,our client offers free onsite parking and is easily accessible from the City Centre. If you are a Graphic Design or Artwork Graduate/Trainee, looking to kickstart your career within a creative work environment, this role is the perfect opportunity with excellentdevelopment opportunities!As a result of continued success, the Junior Artworker will join an established team, working across various brands in the business to produce designs, visuals and print ready artwork across different media channels. You will be creative, team-oriented,and have a keen eye for detail. This is a Creative Agency type environment, working with a range of clients across various sectors - you will be able to produce artwork following different brand guidelines and produce exciting collateral for clients. You willbe provided with extensive on the job training and development with a view to progress your career within the organisation!Key responsibilities of the Junior Artworker:

  • Work closely with the Senior Artworker to produce, edit and prepare print ready artwork across a range of media including merchandiser, apparel and print collateral.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure client orders are set up correctly for production.
  • Support with photography and cataloguing of pre- and post-production samples.
  • Use your graphic design expertise to ensure images look captivating by applying high-quality artwork and retouching techniques.
  • Conduct research and be an expert in emerging design trends and practices.
  • Communicate progress within the artwork process at every stage to all the relevant internal departments, to ensure efficient planning and management of customer expectations.
What we are looking for in a Junior Artworker:
  • Previous Artworker and/or Graphic Design experience gained either from University/qualifications or work experience.
  • Confident user of the Adobe Creative Suite - specifically Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Knowledge of photography, video capture and editing is desirable.
  • Meticulous eye for detail.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for design.
  • Excellent communicator and team worker.
