Job Description

In this hugely important role as an IVA drafter, youll be responsible for managing your own case load and dealing with a wide range of tasks effectively. Working closely with each client youll create a unique IVA proposal that sets out what they can paytowards their debts; youll also be required to liaise with the clients creditors where necessary.As every clients situation is different, each case will provide its own challenges and opportunities for you to use your problem solving skills and provide a solution thats truly personal for them.The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey specialist information effectively. You must also be confident with simple mathematical calculations.There will be a mandatory training period, the length of which will depend on the successful candidates experience.This is a role that will incorporate both working from home and in our Leeds office.What you will be doing:

  • Verify existing information, analyse and investigate requesting further information and documentation as necessary to ensure disclosure of all material facts to ensure correct advice is given
  • To deliver alternative solutions where circumstances do not support an IVA and signpost to the relevant business partners
  • Draft the documentation associated with the production of an IVA to ensure the highest possibility of approval
  • Liaise and negotiate with creditors and clients to ensure any modifications are both fair and realistic and where necessary canvass creditors for their views
  • To liaise where necessary with the Insolvency Practitioner in respect to IVA documentation and client information

  • Good attention to detail and the ability to determine key facts quickly
  • An ability to adapt to change
  • A good working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel is essential for this role.
