Job Description

IT Technician - Leeds - GBP £28,0002nd Line (Hands-On)We are actively seeking an ambitious and dynamic IT Technician to join a fast paced team in Leeds.We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and thrives working independently. This role offers a unique opportunity for professional development, positioning you as the sole point of contact for all IT matters. Beyond day to day operations, youllbe exposed to various projects, making it an ideal role for someone eager to broaden their skill set and contribute meaningfully within a collaborative environment.As the sole point of contact for all things IT youll be responsible for delivering exceptional 2nd line support across their several sites. This role extends beyond traditional ticket-solving, involving hands-on experience with a variety of different hardwareand software. The chosen candidate must also demonstrate a proficiency for Networking, as they contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the companies infrastructure.If youre motivated and have the required technical prowess, we encourage you to apply for the role and be a part of this incredible opportunity.The ideal candidate will have/ be able to:

  • Provide 2nd line technical support to high-level clients, resolving complex issues promptly both remotely and onsite.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues remotely and on-site
  • Install and configure new hardware and software, ensuring seamless integration
  • Network setup/infrastructure installations (Switches/routers/firewalls)
  • Proficient with Windows 10/11
  • Exposure to various Phone systems
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy
  • Office 365
  • Proficient with cloud technologies e.g., Azure
  • Knowledge of back up technologies e.g. Veeam
  • Willing to travel between sites.
  • Previous Helpdesk experience
  • Strong customer/client service
