Job Description

Employer description: Leeds United Football Clubis a professionalfootballclub based inLeeds,West Yorkshire. The club competes in thePremier League, the highest level ofEnglands football league system, and plays its home matches atElland Road Stadium.They have been around since 1919 and continue to support the city of Leeds.Overview:Leeds United are looking for an IT Support Technician Apprentice to help support the other IT technicians within the business and be the 1st point of contact for IT Support clients.Duties and responsibilities:

  • Answering and completing IT Support tickets / helpdesk tickets raised by Support clients
  • Office 365 console administration
  • Helping with email migrations
  • Onboarding new clients
  • Support customers with technical queries
  • Setting up hardware for clients e.g., laptops, desktops, printers etc.
  • Assisting in IT projects
  • Follow Leeds United IT policies and procedures
  • Answering phone calls and passing on messages
  • Any ad hoc duties given by other members of the team
What we are looking for:Skills:
  • Good communication skillsboth written and verbal
  • Confident in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Teamwork and ability to work under own initiative
  • Flexibility with hours if jobs run over etc.
  • Able to work under pressure in a busy fast paced environment
  • Problem solving skills
Having a driving license is not a requirement but you must be able to get to the offices at Elland Road stadium in Leeds.Personal qualities:

Entry requirements:The entry requirements for this Azure Cloud Support Specialist programme are as follows:
  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme.
