Job Description

IT SupportRemoteUp to £28,000Looking for an IT Support individual to join a global computer software company focusing on providing leading edge services to their clients. It would be an opportunity for a IT Support person to be part of a fast-paced business, a continuously growingand driven company led by their strong purposes and values, which you should uphold yourself. As they are committed to promoting equal opportunities and diversity.As an IT Support worker, you would be joining a team of over 100, located across 32 offices across 5 countries. Who are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment which is planting the seed to achieve full potential and progression opportunities.Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Providing a high standard of pre- and post-sales support of software and software services to customers and colleagues using effective oral and written communication.
  • Manage the resolution of customer support cases relating to the intended use of their software portfolio ensuring that outcomes are communicated clearly to each customer.
  • Producing technical mixed media collateral to assist in the provision of support.
  • Manage the liaison with and escalation to internal and external resources when required to resolve a customer support case.
  • Liaising with suppliers and product vendors to advise customers and colleagues on design solutions and escalate support issues.
  • Providing advice on deployment, installation, configuration of the company software portfolio.
  • Organising technical information whilst liaising directly with the customer to develop solutions.
  • Being an ambassador for the company during all customer interactions and acting as a role model for the behaviours which will develop the company into a truly service orientated business.
  • Supporting the people strategies, which hold the integrity of the companys values.
  • Participating in Company projects as and when required.
  • Carrying out any other ad-hoc duties within your capabilities that are relevant to the job and reasonably requested of you by your manager.
  • Conduct webdemonstrationsof products as required by line manager.
  • Assist sales team and customerswith advice on correct products andtraining courses.
  • Produce regular blog posts, Videos, White papers, and FAQs in line with objectives set by line manager.
Key requirements:
  • Experienced within the industry
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Knowledge in CAD
  • Strong PC skills
  • Experience with task-based management
