Job Description

As IT Services Manager for the UK/NI you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the IT service (end user computing, servers, network, security and applications), IT staff and contracts to agreed service level agreements (SLAs) across all relevant business functions.Client DetailsJoin a global business supporting across the UK/NI with technology innovation working within the renewable/green energy sector.DescriptionWhat youll be doing:Responsible for maintaining and improving the IT service (end user computing, servers, network, security and applications), IT staff and contracts to agreed service level agreements (SLAs) across all relevant business functions.Responsibilities:

  • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Manage third party contracts and third party delivered services, including SAP
  • Work with the local business leaders to identify opportunities to make better use of current/new technology
  • Support development of high level business requirements and benefits analysis; identifying the need for SME BA expertise as required
  • Project manage small & med I.T. projects
  • Work with central team to support cyber security requirements, including implementing local patching and security
  • Develop and test local IT business continuity response
  • As business partner develop thorough understanding of systems and processes and build relationships within the business
    • ProfileKey Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience in a similar IT leadership type role within an SME Business.
  • Strong management skills to deliver a first-class IT service to the company.
  • Proven experience of managing IT, delivering projects together with service and supplier management
  • Enthusiasm to champion the use of IT throughout the company.
  • Highly effective presentation skills.
  • Analytical skills which can proactively define and promote technology solutions to address business issues and future needs.
  • Ability to think and act strategically to deliver practical, innovative and creative solutions to the management of business issues.
  • Ability to reassess business priorities on a continual basis.
  • Ability to analyse risk and benefit within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to oversee project and development delivery to meet the business needs and meet timescales and budgets.
  • Ability to develop and retain a high performing IT team, nurturing talent and supporting personal development.
    • Job OfferSalary:£50,000 - £60,000 per annumLocation:Leeds, UKBenefits:
  • Bonus opportunity - up to 15% (dependant on Company KPIs and individual personal performance)
