Job Description

IT Project Manager - LeedsSalary: Negotiable for the right candidateNetpremacy is a global IT solutions provider based in Leeds, specialising in the design and deployment of cloud services. We are looking for someone enthusiastic and driven to come and join our organisation as a Project Manager. You’ll beworking alongside our delivery team to develop and deploy solutions for our customers.The ideal IT Project Managercandidate will have:

  • Proven working experience as a project manager (ideally in the information technology sector)
  • Strong people skills to excel in customer-facing environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to appropriately manage project activities and customer expectations
  • Exceptional organisational skills including attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects
  • Refined time and task management skills
  • The ability to adapt to changing scenarios and manage expectations clearly
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Experience in planning and coordination of project scope
Desirable skills include:
  • Experience working in an Agile Delivery / Software Development environment
  • Experience working with cloud technologies
  • An understanding of the SDLC
  • Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
IT Project Manager responsibilities will include:
  • Working with colleagues and customers to coordinate the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Managing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring any changes in scope are documented and approved as agreed as part of the change request procedure
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Work with colleagues to develop a project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • RAID Management
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
