They are looking for talented individuals to come in and hit the ground running and join their driven, ambitious, caring team based in York.Role Overview

  • Ensure stability, resilience and robustness of IT both on-premise and in the cloud.
  • Maintain, upgrade and install new infrastructure, services and systems.
  • Resolve critical incident issues within business infrastructure and systems.
  • Identify potential issues and resolve in appropriate manner.
  • Responsibility for a knowledge management system including software license compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve service, software and hardware issues.
  • On call every 1 in 6 weeks.
What You Would Bring:
  • Experience of Server/Data Centre Environment Administration in both cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
  • Ensure optimum performance and reliability of the business IT services/infrastructure within environments including:
  • On-Premise VMWare
  • On-Premise Servers
  • Datacentre Environments
  • Backup Environments
  • Central Booking Engine Environment
  • Cloud Environments (AWS, Azure)
Good knowledge and experience in the following technologies:
  • Azure
  • Amazon Web Services
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • SQL/Oracle Database Management
  • HP Server Hardware Maintenance
  • Active Directory
  • Network Switch Management
  • Windows
