Interim financialController - Leeds - £300 / £350 per dayWe are recruiting an Interim Financial Controller for a business based North of but commutable from Leeds. The organisation is a £6 million turnover engineering business, they are profitable with a strong cash flow. They have just been acquired and join a portfolio of other businesses where they can leverage off each others client bases. The portfolio directors (PD) want to ensure this business has strong and robust financial controls and can deliver a degree of MI to the PDs and management team. This is an interesting assignment and requires a particular set of skills:- MUST be Qualified (ACCA, ACMA, ACA)- MUST have hands on SME experience- MUST be able to engage with a small but high calibre team (non finance)- MUST be able to set up processes and systems- MUST have proven experience in completing assignments and experience of handing over to a permanent hire ( this could be interim to perm)Youll need to implement the finance system and controls (Xero has been selected). Be exceptionally hands on, support and provide the PDs with information, ensure payroll is correct (outsourced), set up suppliers and invoicing processes and produce the monthly reports after setting it up.Initially the interim period is scoped for 3-4 months and will be based on site in a Covid secure environment. Interview process will be video led and completed pre Christmas with a Jan 2021 start.
