Job Description

Role: Integration Adviser Location Leeds, YorkshireCompensation Salaried (23K - 25k DOE plus future bonuses)Position type PermanentEmployment type Full time - Monday to Friday 9am/5.30pmAbout us:We are a leading independent UK based payment Service Provider (PSP) offering merchant accounts to a wide range of clients across the UK and into Europe. We have a focus on providing a solution that fits merchant requirements by using the unique level ofexpertise gained in the team, in conjunction with extremely high standards of support and service. By having a wide range of banking partners we are able to find that ideal solution for a merchant rather than selling a "one suite fits all" proposition. Ourspeciality is working with high risk merchant accounts and being able to provide solutions that range from e-commerce platforms to Chip and Pin machines. We provide a high level of support to their merchants and as the company grows, it is essential that membersof their team are able to maintain this high standard by carrying a good work ethic, a keenness and ability to learn, and the willingness to pitch in when needed.The roleWe are looking to add to our Integration team to align with business growth and maximise our support to merchants. The integration team are a specialist team that provide support throughout the life cycle of a Merchant Account. We pride ourselves on ourexpertise and ability to understand our merchants and their requirements.. A successful candidate will report directly into the Operation Managers and will work with the Integration team. Based from our Leeds office, however home work is supported and willbe part of our long term plans. This is an exciting opportunity for a bright, articulate and enthusiastic individual who would like to work for a rapidly developing and expanding business.Key areas of responsibility will include

  • Providing technical support to merchants, pre and post integration, on a wide range of topics ranging from understanding the API, setting up user accounts and troubleshooting any problems.
  • Developing and maintaining a good working relationship with merchants to provide on-going support for the lifetime of the account.
  • Creating strong working relationships with the Acquiring Banks and Partners.
  • Analysing and understanding merchant behaviour and processing patterns.
  • Performing adhoc checks and account monitoring.
  • Reporting tasks such as; processing volumes, transaction reviews.
  • Data Administration such as, limited too; ensuring our internal database and systems are kept up to date.
In order to be considered for this role we are seeking:
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience using CRM systems, or similar.
  • The ability to perform and adapt under pressure.
  • Good problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Willingness to learn and develop knowledge.
Whilst such skills are not essential, the following would be of particular interest:
  • Experience with Gateway providers,
  • Experience in the financial or banking industry.
  • Experience working in a technical support team.
Additional information - The salary is negotiable and will be commensurate with knowledge, ability and previous experience. During the first 6 weeks, more time may be required in the Leeds offices during the primary training.
