Job Description

Huntswood is looking for experienced insurance claims handlers to join a new contract for an international travel assistance company.As an Insurance Claims Handler, you will be conducting a 360-degree review of customer complaints with regards to medical claims. You will need to review all the evidence provided and use your decision-making skills and experience to ensure that the rightoutcome is made.What Huntswood can offer you:

  • £170 a day Umbrella only recruitment - This is only available to individuals working via an Umbrella company, we can assist you with this

The ideal Insurance Complaint Hander will have:
  • Experience dealing with claims within a general insurance environment
  • A knowledge of FCA/FOS regulations with regards to insurance claims
  • An understanding of travel insurance and medical repatriation would be desirable
  • Strong Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to write engaging letters
  • Ability to navigate through several in-house databases
