Job Description

Infrastructure Engineer - (Infrastructure, Azure, O365, Networking, Active Directory, Windows Server, Travel, Field, Intune, Cisco) - Permanent - LeedsCharles Simon Associates are currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer on a permanent basis for our prestigious Europe wide client based in Leeds. There will be travel with this role on a weekly basis to different sites.Location: Leeds with travel to other sitesSalary: Up to £40,000 per annum plus £5k Car AllowanceSkills/Requirements for the Infrastructure Engineer:

  • Previous experience in similar role is vital
  • Strong O365 and Windows Server experience
  • Active Directory
  • Ability to troubleshoot network issues around TCP/IP, Lan/WAN and basic Cisco
  • MS Intune experience
  • MS Azure experience (Highly Desirable)
Start date is ASAP for the Infrastructure EngineerThe Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for:
  • Supporting and monitoring the existing infrastructure and performing preventative and proactive maintenance
  • Diagnosing and resolve complex infrastructure and connectivity issues/problems raised by the Service Desk team
  • Helping and supporting junior members of the team and mentoring when needed
  • Assisting the team in designing and documenting infrastructure processes, procedures and Standards across the group
  • Completing IT projects on time with assistance from the wider IT team
  • Liaising closely with the 3rd parties to ensure all infrastructure work is performed to the highest levels
  • Traveling to sites in order to provide proactive maintenance and upgrades to both hardware and software
  • Assisting in the tracking and recording of the companies infrastructure assets to ensure that infrastructure and data is kept secure at all times
