Job Description

Up to £55,000 per annum + private healthcare 3 days a week in Leeds (after probationary period)Audit & Risk Recruitment are working with a global construction business to help them hire an Information Security GRC specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced maturing environment, with the goal to maintain and improveadherence to frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST and COBIT along with ensuring continued Data Protection compliance through DPIAs and maintenance of the IT risk register.Our client is currently undertaking an Information Security transformation along with a sustained company wide growth rate of 37%. You will be integral in defining necessary Information Security GRC policy, working closely with high-level stakeholders and theexperienced team to implement an adequate strategy.You will also have the opportunity for growth and development in the company, with a commitment to long-term investment in their employee success. As the successful candidate, you will be a trusted advisor to the business on all matters regarding InformationSecurity GRC and Data Protection. You will be entrusted with improving the perception of Information Security GRC along with the communicative skill to explain this to a range of high-level stakeholders.Technical requirements:

  • Excellent communicative skills in a professional setting
  • Have at least two years working hands-on in a similar role
  • Have excellent working knowledge of governance, risk and compliance best practice in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on experience of an enterprise security and standard- Cyber essentials, ISO27001, 27002 etc.
  • Experience in formal document creation, including ISO 27001 aligned policies, standards and processes
  • Experience of carrying out risk reviews, technology audits or other similar work
Detailed knowledge of:
  • Security Incident Response processes, procedures and best practices
  • Data Protection requirements, e.g. GDPR
  • Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) processes
  • Risk assessments
You should be a candidate that has professional experience of working with Information Security GRC and Data Protection. A mix of experience in Industry and Practice will be valued. Youll need to available to work in the UK without sponsorship and must beable to commute to Leeds.Audit & Risk Recruitment
