Job Description

HR & Training Coordinator£25,000 to £28,000Full time PermanentLeedsOur client, based 10 minutes from Leeds City centre (LS10), has been established 23 years and is one of the largest manufacturers of hotel furniture in the UK. Their clients include Hilton, Crowne Plaza, Sheraton & Holiday Inn.They are now looking for an HR professional who has at least 2-3 years’ experience in HR and a minimum level 3 CIPD.Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Preparing recruitment adverts, profiling candidates, arranging, and for some roles, conducting interviews.
  • Onboarding new starters
  • Writing, developing and managing training plans with the assistance of department managers
  • Support and develop training skills within the business.
  • Perform all HR & Training administration tasks.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, guidance and procedures.
  • Provide and maintain all necessary HR reporting for the company.
  • Manage attendance reporting & holiday planning.
  • Ensuring new starter checks are carried out, including employment reference checks and Right to Work documentation etc.
  • Preparing and issuing employee letters and documents (employee handbooks)
  • Develop and support management with the employee appraisal system
  • Processing Leavers and exit interviews
  • Organise and maintain an effective filing system, including hard and soft copies
  • The successful candidate must:
  • Have experience of working at HR Administrator or Officer level
  • Have experience in Learning & Development- preferred
  • Be commercially astute, results driven and adaptable
  • Have strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Be able to use initiative and operate on a self-sufficient and autonomous basis
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • CIPD qualified Level 3 or above
