There are 80 bedrooms, an 8 bed Level 3 critical care unit and 6 theatres (2 Stryker laparoscopic and 2 laminar flow). We’re close to the city centre and central railway station.The RoleThe successful candidate will support the cardiology department in the delivery of all areas of echocardiography including transthoracic (TTE), Consultant led stress echocardiography, bubble & contrast studies and consultant led transesophageal echo (TOE). Experience in Pediatric and Congenital Echocardiography would also be an advantage. There is huge potentialto expand this service, as well as to maintain skills in other core areas of invasive and non-invasive services.The PersonYou will need to be currently registered with the RCCP, or equivalent, as a Clinical Physiologist. You will hold a BSc Clinical Physiology and/or BTEC ONC and HNC qualification or equivalent - as required for RCCP registration, as well as holding full accreditation with theBritish Society of Echocardiography (BSE).An excellent communicator and team worker, you must be flexible, motivated and committed to the highest standards of patient care.
