An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the National Inpatient Centre for Psychological Medicine at Leeds General Infirmary.This is a full time position working shifts, including nights and weekends.This post involves working within an experienced multi-disciplinary team that provides biopsychosocial care and rehabilitation, alongside physical and psychological healthcare monitoring and education. A strong emphasis is placed on supporting and promoting functional activities, to ensure each patient achieves their individual rehabilitation goals and achieves optimal occupational performance. You would be expected to be able to work well as part of a team, but also to be motivated and self directed in this role. This is a great opportunity to work with patients in a holistic way, using a variety of interventions to promote physical and psychological well-being.This post would particularly suit a recent graduate looking to gain experience in a specialist health care setting, or someone with previous health care experience as a support worker.
