Job Description

Rutherford Briant are exclusively recruiting for a Qualified Head of Management Accounts to join a high-growth International business based on the outskirts of Leeds.This role is perfect for someone who is ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualified and is looking to gain more commercial and managerial responsibilty.Key Duties include:

  • Managing a small team of Management Accountants ensuring workload is managed and completed to set deadlines.
  • Responsible for dring process improvements and efficiencies while making sure relationships with key stakeholders are maintained and developed
  • Month-end margin flash and actual reporting overview and finalisation, including variance analysis
  • Review of margins, and support to the team on their detailed margin work
  • Knowledge of working within a SOX controlled environment
  • Month-end FX analysis and management of FX spot rates issued to the business
  • Inventory analysis and liaison with business on aged levels to ensure minimal obsolescence
  • Revenue recognition guidance to the business
  • Working closely with the Head of FP&A to ensure our reporting is consistent with requirements
  • Providing ad-hoc reporting and support to the business
    • Requirements Include:
  • Qualified Accountant
  • Experience of managing or leading a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines
