Job Description

Make a real difference and support this fantastic not for profit organisation leading the organisations overall IT strategy, ensuring they are fully supported with the right infrastructure and systems.Client DetailsYoull be joining a fantastic not for profit organisation who play a key role within the community.DescriptionWhat youll be doing:As Head of IT, you will define and then deliver the IT strategy, ensuring this is aligned to the current business priorities and the long-term business strategy, ultimately ensuring the organisation is fully supported with the right IT infrastructure and systems.Responsibilities:

  • Lead the IT team to ensure the organisation receives effective support and delivers against SLAs.
  • Deliver and embed sustainable, high quality and cutting-edge IT capability and smarter business working solutions and systems that meet the needs of the organisations operations and central support functions.
  • Design and deliver an IT business plan that meets business needs, with measurable outcomes in respect of value for money, financial, quality, regulatory, security and contractual requirements.
  • Project manage key business projects to ensure they are delivered on-time, within budget and in line with the project requirements.
  • Ensure effective day to day management of the in-house IT support services, ensuring KPI and SLA targets are met around service requests, incident management, equipment and IT resource requests.
  • Ensure there are appropriate and effective IT systems, controls, policies, and procedures in place to mitigate any IT risks, for example in relation to IT security and GDPR.
  • Responsible for ensuring digital services comply with and meet recognised industry standards, such as ISO 27001; Cyber Essentials; GDPR; Data security, minimising data risk events. Exceeding recognised good practice and standards, where possible.
  • ProfileKey Skills & Experience:
  • Solid IT general management skills (organisational, operational and financial management).
  • Strong management skills to deliver a first-class IT service to the company.
  • Proven experience of managing IT, delivering projects together with service and supplier management.
  • Enthusiasm to champion the use of IT throughout the company.
  • Ability to lead successful IT support teams, to agreed SLAs.
  • Experience providing hardware support to end users, resolving technical issues.
  • Working knowledge of current IT trends and best practice IT Frameworks.
  • A strong working knowledge and understanding of computer systems, applications and operating systems.
  • Experience working with key stakeholders to understand business drivers and relate them to IT capability.
  • Experience of managing third party providers to ensure they are strategic and value adding partners
  • An excellent communicator, capable of engaging others in the IT vision and support teams to engage in technology developments
  • Job OfferSalary:£45,000 - £51,941 per annumBenefits:
